Key Responsibilities
* Operate a range of construction machinery and vehicles safely and efficiently, including Heavy Rigid (HR) trucks, excavators, bobcats/skid steers, and other specialised equipment.
* Assist with the delivery and installation of premium pools, landscaping materials, and project components to various sites across the region.
* Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance, using your mechanical expertise to keep equipment in top condition and quickly address any issues.
* Work collaboratively with our experienced construction team to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet the high standards we're known for.
* Maintain strict compliance with WH&S protocols, environmental standards, and company safety policies — safety is a top priority, and we provide proper training and support.
What We're Looking For
* Current valid HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence – essential for this role.
* Minimum 5+ years proven experience operating heavy machinery, with demonstrated ability to operate both excavators and bobcats/skid steers (this is not negotiable — we need someone who can get the job done right from day one).
* Strong mechanical aptitude, with confidence troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
· Commitment to safe work practices and a keen attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills and a true team-player approach.
* Ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure, especially when working to project deadlines.
* Positive, customer-focused attitude — our clients notice and value quality workmanship.
* Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) must be held at the time of application.
· Current White Card must be held at the time of application and cannot be obtained after hiring.
· Australian citizenship and full Australian work rights are required.
