Our client – one of Australia's leading suppliers of Poultry Products and a trusted Australian brand has opportunities for ongoing work at their Clyde feed mill facility.
This position will require you to work rotating shifts
Day Shift- Monday to Thursday 6:00am -2:00pm, Friday 6.00am to 12.00pm
Afternoon Shift- Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Friday 12.00pm to 6.00pm
Night shift- Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am. Friday 6.00pm to 12.00am (This shift may be required to finish at 6.00am on Saturday mornings if required)
Initially you will be working your assigned shift-i.e Day or Afternoon for about 3 months and will then transition to rotating shifts.
Rates: Starting from $43.01p/h for Day shift
Your role will involve
* Operate and monitor pellet mill machinery to ensure smooth and efficient processing
* Follow strict food safety and quality assurance guidelines
* Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain equipment performance
* Handle raw materials and ensure correct weights and portions
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in your work area
* Work as part of a team to meet production targets
To be Successful you will require
* Previous experience operating pellet mills or similar machinery
* Proven ability to monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure efficient production
* Familiarity with Feed mill operations and processes
* Ability to conduct quality control checks and make necessary adjustments
* Basic understanding of maintenance and troubleshooting for pellet mill equipment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality feed products
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Willingness to always adhere to health and safety guidelines
