An Australian construction & materials company, our client has been operating for over 100 years. Due to company growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its finance business partnering and operational accounting function.
Job Description
Reporting into the GM of Finance, the key scope of this role will be to
* Partner with site operations team to drive financial performance
* Provide commercial insights and analysis to support decision-making
* Oversee month end
* Budgeting, forecasting and long term planning
* Drive continuous improvement
* Compliance with internal controls
* Present financials to senior management at both a State and National level
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
* CA/CPA Qualified
* Prior background working in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Manager role within the manufacturing or construction industry
* SAP system experience (desired)
* PowerBI knowledge
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive and results-driven approach
