Our client is a highly respected WA based landlord with a diverse and growing portfolio of quality retail, commercial, and hospitality properties across Western Australia. With a strong reputation for excellence in asset development and management, they are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Property Manager to join their team.
This is a unique opportunity to work onsite and take direct responsibility for the day to day management of a premium shopping centre. You will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of this high performing asset, while working within a dynamic and supportive property team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the daily operations of a premium retail centre
* Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, ensuring lease compliance and exceptional service delivery
* Onboard new tenants and manage tenancy issues, including arrears and rental abatements
* Collaborate on the preparation of asset plans, turnover forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
* Monitor and report on retailer performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
* Oversee maintenance issues and ensure prompt resolution by working closely with landlords and contractors
* Assist with general administration and support wider property team initiatives
To be successful, you will have:
* A current Real Estate Agents Representative Certificate or License
* Experience in retail property management and managing multi-tenanted assets
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset
* The ability to resolve conflict and manage high-risk tenancy situations professionally
* High level organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
* Financial literacy with strong budgeting and reporting experience
* A degree in Property, Business, Management, or a related field (highly desirable)
