The Role of Inventory Management
This role involves ensuring that inventory control procedures are being followed, with a focus on maintaining high levels of stock integrity at the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce daily inventory reports and analyse them to identify discrepancies
* Routinely conduct cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels
* Investigate all discrepancies and issues within pre-determined time frames
* Implement, maintain and routinely conduct Low Code reports
* Perform regular stock adjustments to ensure accuracy
* Maintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, claims/resolutions, out of stock information
* Ensure that stock receipting accuracy is maintained to the highest level
* Process customer orders, enquires and following up on any issues
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
* Must have experience in Stock Control (stocktake, cycle counts, supplier relationships)
* Valid Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain one
* Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* Superior time management skills with the ability to manage work schedules unsupervised
* A good knowledge of warehouse and distribution functions with great product knowledge
* Flexible and reliable with the capacity to work under pressure
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Strong understanding of OH&S and HACCP or willingness to learn
* Certificate III in Warehousing or similar advantageous
