The Opportunity
In partnership with our host, Jordan Griffey Carpentry, we are seeking a motivated 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join their growing team.
Jordan Griffey Carpentry delivers high-quality custom homes and renovations across residential and commercial projects throughout the Sunshine Coast.
This opportunity will allow you to further your skills while working towards the successful completion of your CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry, paving the way to becoming a fully qualified tradesperson.
Job Details
In this role, you will work under supervision, gaining hands-on experience across commercial and residential construction projects in and around the Sunshine Coast.
You will be part of a supportive team and have the opportunity to develop practical skills while contributing to high-quality construction work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe manual handling of materials and equipment
- Operation and maintenance of power tools
- Cutting, nailing, and assembly tasks
- General construction duties, including site preparation and clean-up
- Assisting skilled tradespeople as required
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm, with occasional weekend work required

About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic apprentice with solid experience, ideally someone in their 2nd year of apprenticeship who is eager to complete their trade qualification and further develop their skills.
- A strong team-player mindset, with the willingness to listen, learn, and follow instructions
- The ability to adapt quickly to new situations
- Excellent communication skills
- A valid driver’s licence
- A Construction White Card
- Strong safety awareness
- The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
