We are seeking an experienced tradesperson to join our Engineering department on a full-time or casual basis.
* This role involves undertaking carpentry requirements, including repairs and new projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks such as:
* Undertaking maintenance and repair work in all areas of carpentry
* Working on new carpentry projects, including major improvements
* Managing timber supplies
* Assisting with general handyperson duties as required
* Maintaining occupational health and safety standards
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
* A trade qualification in Carpentry
* A current manual driver's license
* A strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and practices
* The ability to multitask and communicate effectively at all levels
* Prior experience in a similar role within a Hotel or Resort environment is desirable
