Job Description
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Project Completion Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful turnover of projects, from construction to commissioning and handover phases.
The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders, including contractors, Bechtel, and customers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in completions certification and turnover/handover for the project, through construction, commissioning, and handover phases
* Incorporate handover requirements from the customer and construction/CSU turnover requirements into systems completion database
* Monitor production of contractor certification deliverables, including quality of submissions, and adherence to agreed schedules
* Develop reports as specified by supervision and generate on a periodic basis
* Coordinate plant turnover/handover to end user/client and system completions between parties on-project (typically construction to startup), compiling documentation, ensuring quality and consistency of turnover/handover packages to the client for the construction and/or CSU team
* Maintain lists and turnover processes as documented by procedure and directed
* Input provided data into system databases and administer the systems completion database; ensuring that requirements are set for systems under their purview
* Assist with punch list database, running reports and chasing areas of focus as directed
* Assist with completions packages to certify completion of a turnover or handover element for review and approval
* Assist with completions documents submittal, checking and compilation processes or provides checking and oversight to subcontractors in this regard
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a recognized degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialized courses in Information Systems, Engineering, Construction or related fields, and/or work experience in a STEM-related field.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience is required, or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
