The role focuses on accurately determining and calculating estimates for new quote requests for single storey, split level, double storey, and multi-residential designs.
Key responsibilities include:Complete accurate retail pricing on Quotations, Variations & Consolidated Tenders for customer projectsCollaborate with the sales team to generate quotes by applying design, construction and customer considerationsGenerate site costs including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculationsComplete sales tenders on registered and unregistered land using site inspection photos, reports, satellite photos, and street viewRead and interpret construction plansCreate pre-contract variation pricing and prepare scope of works in a timely mannerAppraise external reports to assist costingLiaise with internal and external stakeholdersAbout youYou should share a passion for our purpose and align with our core values: better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger.
You will also have:Experience with residential estimating or a related fieldA formal qualification in building or a trade certificate (desirable)Sound knowledge of Australian Construction Standards and relevant standardsUnderstanding of local council and developer requirementsAttention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and targetsInnovative problem-solving approachStrong interpersonal skills and collaborationContinuous improvement mindset with a positive 0can-do attitudeExperience in BusinessCraft – highly desiredWe encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.
