Job Summary
As a Switchboard Operator, you will provide customer-focused call-centre services for Corporate Services. You'll answer internal and external calls, manage appointments, triage patients, maintain accurate records, and support the team to ensure high-quality care and positive patient experiences.
Responsibilities
Answer and respond to internal and external calls professionally.
Complete triage questionnaires and assess patient eligibility.
Schedule and manage patient appointments, including interpreter liaison.
Maintain data accuracy and update patient records.
Assist with inquiries and appropriately escale complaints.
Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals, including the general public.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision and use initiative.
Extensive and varied clerical/administrative experience in Australia.
Demonstrated keyboard/typing skills – minimum 40 wpm.
Experience using Windows-based software and client-related databases.
