Qualifications & experience
Formal qualifications and training in landscape architecture / playground design / building design / product design is preferred but not compulsory.
Minimum 2 years experience preferred.
Experience with design programs including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD 2D, and other 3D design programs advantageous (Revit).
Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
Excellent written and communication skills, and high attention to detail, with the ability to absorb, adapt and convert information provided by management team.
A solid understanding of specific construction materials, methodology, techniques tools and equipment essential to the role (or a keen interest to learn).
Display professional behaviour, be a team player and a good role model, with a positive and hard working attitude.
Tasks & responsibilities
Report to the Management Team, design and deliver playground and / or play equipment designs from concept through to shop drawings.
Liaise with engineer and playground safety auditor to incorporate feedback into the designs, and ensure designs comply with AS
and other relevant standards.
Assist the Design Team efficiently and effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Assist with contract administration, quoting and proposals as required.
Assist with other tasks, including Product Catalogue development, photoshoots and developing Product Library, website design development (no prior knowledge or experience required)
Participate in workshops, discussions and meetings with clients and project managers to identify and deliver their project requirements.
