About the position:
The role of Architectural & Design Key Account Manager is to build and manage relationships with existing and new clients to create a quality branding experience that results in driving sales revenues for the company. There are two roles within this sales function; one that focusses on upholstery manufacturers and the other Interior design firms, Architects and Property Developers (for hotels, bars, restaurants etc.).
These Commercial Sales roles are to develop and grow the current customer base by strategically promoting the company through various partners such as joiners, specifiers and directly with the commercial businesses.
The successful applicant must deliver sales through a proactive and diligent approach to the well-established market and be able to deliver new opportunities.
How you will be measured:
Identify relevant target clients
Contact new clients to generate business opportunities
Listen to clients' needs and identify an opportunity for sales
Develop client focused solutions tailored to meet their needs
Identify partners that can also leverage our products
Target relevant touch points who would work on the product such as specifiers, joiners, architects, engineers (working on projects decision makers)

Account Management:
Demonstrate an intricate understanding of the client's strategy and planning cycles. Truly know your accounts
Identify opportunities with existing clients to grow revenue

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:
- A proven track record in achieving sales targets
- Previous experience in both account management and business development
- Previous experience in consumer based good sector
- Highly commercial mindset with the ability to identify and deliver to market opportunities
- Highly driven with a passion for identifying opportunities for sales and promoting the branding
- Strong team orientation and ability to work with internal stakeholders
