Chelgrave is a privately owned Labour Hire business has been in operation for over 40 years and has built an enviable reputation for quality trade labour and solutions.
We are now seeking to appoint an office based, Operational, Sales & Service person. The person will have a Customer Service and solution focus and join our team in Metone and continue to help take the company to the next level as we continue to grow.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be integral in all aspects of our family-owned business, including:
- Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Workforce Management: Interview & coordinate the allocation of labour resources to client sites, matching skills, and availability with client requirements.
- Data Entry: Ensure accuracy in all administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, scheduling, and documentation.
- Customer Service: Listen to clients & employees. Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
- Reporting: Utilize our software systems efficiently for scheduling, reporting, and communication.

You will ideally come from an Industrial background and understand the demands and pressures of working in a small to medium sized business. This is a hands-on role, and you must be able to juggle changing priorities and respond quickly to the business needs. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and a positive attitude are a must You are a team player and enjoy supporting and helping others in the business. Formal qualifications are not essential for this opportunity.
This is an in-office position, for an experienced organiser of people looking for a challenge.
