The Role:
This key role is pivotal in ensuring that Flinders Christian Community College fulfils its mission, purpose, and strategic direction through excellence in financial stewardship, operational leadership, and strong governance. You will drive informed commercial decisions and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This key role will enable change and growth, setting the college up for continuous improvement and furthering their impressive success.
Reporting directly to the Executive Principal and working closely with the broader College Executive Leadership Team, you will lead four direct reports in providing strategic oversight and management across key domains, including business and finance, facilities, assets and resources, workplace health and safety, risk, governance, and compliance. The role also acts as Company Secretary to the College Board.
About You:
Essential Skills & Experience:
* CPA or CA accreditation (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
* Extensive business leadership experience ideally in independent education or similar environments
* Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and WHS
* Understanding of Commonwealth and State education funding models
* Familiarity with Synergetic (preferred)
