About the Role

The Food and Textiles Technology Assistant plays an important role in supporting the delivery of practical and engaging learning experiences across the school. This position provides hands‑on assistance to teachers and students, including preparing ingredients and materials, maintaining equipment, and organising resources to ensure classes run efficiently. The role also involves supporting practical assessments, displays, and events that showcase student work. With a strong focus on organisation and attention to detail, the Food and Textiles Technology Assistant helps create a safe, well‑structured, and productive environment where students can confidently develop their culinary and textile skills.

Qualifications

* ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
