We are excited to be recruiting a PR & Social Media Executive to join the Branded Garden Products marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, forward-thinking self-starter to play a key role within a well-established, market-leading horticultural brand with a proud heritage and a strong digital presence. Sitting at the heart of our PR and social media activity, the role works closely with teams across the business to tell inspiring growing stories, bring fresh ideas to life, and actively engage our community of gardeners.
* Day-to-day management of all social media channels across Branded Garden Products brands
* Plan, manage and deliver content calendars, ensuring content is brand-specific, engaging and seasonal to support our following growth
* Create, schedule and publish high-quality social content that supports PR, marketing and sales objectives. Staying up to date with developments including industry trends, best practices and tools to ensure we are at the forefront of any new initiatives and ensuring continual optimisation
* Develop and execute an influencer and social outreach programme, building new relationships and nurturing existing partnerships, identifying other opportunities for relevant brand exposure, product gifting and collaborations
* Monitor, analyse and report on social media and influencer performance, providing insights and recommendations
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and key industry contacts ensuring we maximise our opportunities
* Expand and maintain the press database, identifying new media opportunities and contacts
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools
* Skilled in videography and content production
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Word and Excel.
* Skilled in using social media management tools e.g. Meta Business Suite and Sprout.
* High level knowledge of image creation using tools such as Canva or Photoshop Elements.
* Experience in social media management and content creation.
* Experience working with influencers and external partners
* Experience within a previous marketing or press and communications role.
