About the Role
Gin Gin Quarries and Kleicon Recycling are growing operations supplying high-quality quarry materials and recycled products to major infrastructure, civil, commercial and residential projects across the Wide Bay–Burnett and beyond.
We're looking for an experienced, driven Sales Executive who knows quarry and construction materials, enjoys being out in the field, and can build lasting customer partnerships while consistently delivering results.
This is a key growth role with an established customer base and strong operational support — you'll be trusted to run your patch, grow volume, improve margins, and represent two respected local brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales plans to grow quarry and recycling product volumes.
* Manage and expand relationships with civil contractors, builders, concreters, councils, developers, and rural customers.
* Identify new projects early, build pipelines, and convert opportunities into long-term supply agreements.
* Provide accurate pricing, product recommendations, and technical/material support to customers.
* Coordinate closely with quarry, recycling, and logistics teams to ensure reliable delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor market movements, competitor activity, and customer trends.
* Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and CRM updates (leads, quotes, win/loss, etc.).
* Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental and quality standards.
* Represent the businesses professionally at site visits, project meetings and industry events.
About You
You're a confident, experienced salesperson who understands what customers need on-site and knows how to make supply easy and dependable. You're equally comfortable quoting a major civil job or helping a local builder pick the right product mix.
You'll bring:
* Proven sales experience in or with an understanding of quarry materials / construction / landscaping supplies / recycling products.
* Strong knowledge preferred of aggregates, road base, sands, gravels, recycled products, and their applications.
* A track record of meeting/exceeding targets and growing accounts.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* High-level communication skills and a practical, solutions-first mindset.
* Strong planning and time-management, with the ability to work autonomously.
* Competency in CRM, quoting, and sales reporting.
* Current QLD driver's licence (essential).
* Familiarity with the Wide Bay–Burnett / regional QLD market (highly regarded).
