LOCATION: Our projects cover a wide range of works in residential, commercial, and government departments within the Perth Metropolitan and remote locations in Western Australia.

Full Time Position

Top Notch Tree Surgeons is an Indigenous Arboriculture organization seeking a Supervisor/Arborist.

Our Mission

To educate and provide services that celebrate Australia's unique flora and fauna.

We offer an attractive remuneration package of $80,000 - $120,000 base salary, plus opportunities to earn bonuses.

Fully maintained company vehicle, iPad, and mobile phone are provided.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading and Supervising Arborists: Oversee and direct team work, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
2. Tree Program Management: Manage planning, scheduling, and budgeting for tree-related projects.
3. Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on tree health assessment, pruning, removal techniques, and prepare accurate cost estimates considering labor, materials, and equipment.
4. Client Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
5. Project Planning and Execution: Plan and execute arboricultural projects, including planting, maintenance, and removal.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
7. Training and Development: Provide mentorship and training to foster professional growth within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Arboricultural Knowledge: Certificate III or Diploma of Arboriculture, with extensive knowledge of arboricultural principles, practices, and techniques.
2. Cost Estimation Skills: Ability to accurately calculate costs and prepare detailed estimates.
3. Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage projects effectively, ensuring high performance.
4. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and suppliers.
5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to tree health, maintenance, and safety.
6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using arboricultural tools and equipment, including chainsaws, climbing gear, and rigging equipment.
7. Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to arboriculture.
