Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical & Avionics) to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your Role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre‐flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The Essential Requirements
* 3+ years experience on General Aviation aircraft;
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical or Avionics) & CASA or EASA Licensed;
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
* Current Australian Driver's licence; and
* Valid work visa.
