The Opportunity We are seeking a highly experienced, highly driven and data-oriented Senior Marketing Manager to own and optimise our advertising channels, our tech stack, and the partners we work with. The Senior Marketing Manager must have experience over a broad number of marketing functions, be innovative, and always be looking for new opportunities and to push boundaries. You will be responsible for driving high-quality home loan applications by executing sophisticated campaigns across a broad marketing mix, but with a heavy focus on performance. This is a critical role that directly influences our growth trajectory and requires a hands-on approach to strategy, measurement and execution. Key Responsibilities : - Campaign Strategy and Execution. Predominantly performance channels such as Google Ads and Paid Social, but with some component of DSP and above-the-line executions. - Budget & Forecasting: Own and manage a multi-million dollar media budget, ensuring efficient allocation and accurate forecasting to first and foremostly achieve aggressive Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) targets, but with a mindset of balancing budgets to also grow brand awareness in a cost-effective manner. - Stakeholder Management : work with a sizeable number of affiliates and ad tech partners to drive the best outcomes, maintaining relationships, as well as negotiating and reviewing legal contracts within CBA’s compliance framework. - Data Mapping and Technical Implementation: build out internal dashboards and ensure accuracy of data through the implementation of client-side and server-side tagging. - Measurement: validate results through attribution and lift studies to ensure channel performance is accurately and fairly represented. - Content and Communications: work alongside the Head of Brand and Marketing Performance Lead to continually seek new earned and paid content media opportunities, ensuring high quality messaging and brand alignment. - Project Delivery: work to a timely schedule to test and develop new strategies, experiments, technologies and other internal initiatives. What You Will Bring 5 years of experience in a hands-on performance marketing role, ideally within a high growth fintech, financial services, or regulated industry environment. Deep expertise in managing large-scale campaigns across all key paid channels, managing the budgets, optimisations and performance. You should have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding aggressive CPA/ROAS targets. Exceptional analytical skills with a high proficiency in manipulating large datasets to derive clear, commercial insights. You will require a deep understanding of the nuances of each platform’s attribution models and the brand/lift studies they facilitate, to best measure the performance of each platform. End-to-end technical capability in tagging implementation, measurement, and data mapping. Experience in tools such as Google Tag Manager, Funnel, and Data Studio is required. Any core technical skills such as HTML or SQL are largely beneficial. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present complex performance data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You must have a thorough understanding of performance metrics and be able to justify recommendations and outcomes. The ability to manage our existing affiliates network and seek out new paid opportunities. This involves appropriately assigning budgets, negotiating contracts and rates, and reviewing service and licensing agreements. Have experience in, or a sound knowledge in SEO/AEO is also beneficial.
