Seeking skilled Trades Assistants to support experienced tradespeople with equipment maintenance and repair. Above all, safety is our top priority.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain workshop cleanliness and order.
* Assist tradespeople in their daily tasks – Diesel Fitters, LV Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians, Auto Electricians.
* Clean machines using high pressure washers.
* Run parts and supplies between work sites and the workshop.
* Support maximising plant availability through efficient maintenance and repair.
* Attend meetings, contribute to discussions on safety, and pre-start checks.
* Conduct Take 5's and JSA's as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a TA or Labourer.
* Practical mechanical skills.
* Valid manual driver's license.
* Current forklift certification.
* First aid and CPR qualification.
* Ability to work well in teams and independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
