As a Procurement Manager at PwC Australia, you will lead and deliver strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across the firm's Indirect Procurement function, with a strong focus on Marketing and Events Management categories.

What you'll do:
* Drive value creation through cost optimisation, policy and compliance uplift, risk management (including supplier and contract risk), and improved stakeholder experience.
* Build high-performing supplier partnerships and implement category strategies that improve service quality, commercial outcomes, and operational efficiency.
* Provide leadership and direction to a team of Category Managers and Procurement Specialists, developing capability and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality procurement services.
* Develop and execute category strategies across Indirect Procurement, with emphasis on Marketing, Events, Professional Services, and other corporate services.
* Lead complex end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, including RFx, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
* Establish and maintain commercial frameworks such as rate cards, KPIs/SLAs, discount programs, rebates, and indexation controls.
* Drive policy‑aligned procurement outcomes, ensuring preferred supplier compliance, process adoption, and governance of non‑compliant spend.
* Manage supplier performance through reviews, dashboards, KPIs, QBRs, and continuous improvement programs.
* Build and lead a high‑performing procurement team, including coaching, workload management, and performance development.
What we're looking for:
* 5+ years' procurement experience (3+ in Indirect Procurement), ideally with Marketing and Events category exposure.
* Proven capability in category strategy, strategic sourcing, RFx management, negotiation, and contracting.
* Strong understanding of Marketing, Events, and Professional Services procurement levers (agency models, rate cards, SoWs, deliverables governance, and scope/variation management).
* Highly analytical, with experience in spend analysis, compliance/leakage assessments, and performance dashboarding.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and balance cost, risk, and experience outcomes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite, spend analytics tools, Power BI, CLM systems, and e‑procurement platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Zycus).
* Experience in supplier performance management, KPI reporting, and project/portfolio tracking tools.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; procurement certification (CPSM/MCIPS) preferred, with additional commercial or project management certification desirable.
