About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Recruitment Support Coordinator, the Onboarding Officer ensures a smooth transition for new hires and current staff moving into new roles by managing pre‐commencement checks and processes. The role focuses on overseeing onboarding documentation and ensuring seamless payroll setup for new employees, while also supporting broader administrative duties performed by the Recruitment Support team.
Responsibilities
* Initiate and manage employment checks for new staff
* Verify and process onboarding documents, including contracts, tax forms, and background checks
* Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and complete paperwork
* Address onboarding inquiries promptly and professionally
* Generate and present onboarding metrics reports to HR management
* Provide high‐level customer service and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Qualifications
Proven administrative and organisational expertise, a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Recruitment experience is required.
