Our organization requires a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Lead to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of our health and safety framework. This role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment for our staff and guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organisation, and execution of health and safety programs, managing risks, and promoting employee awareness. They will also monitor risk and report non-compliance, manage workers' compensation, and supervise casework related to workplace injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive health and safety framework.
* Lead the team in conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures.
* Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
* Manage workers' compensation claims and provide support to injured employees.
* SUPervise the casework of employees injured at work.
