We are currently looking for a Building Consultant based in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area to join our team. This role will see you provide sound decision making and preparation for upcoming work in relation to a diverse range of services predominately around forensic building inspections for insurance claims and/or defect inspections for home warranty claims.
You will have an inquisitive mind and be a problem solver with opportunities for job progression and diversification.
Accountabilities:
* Time management and recording
* Compiling and formatting forensic building reports and scopes of work
* Defect identification and reporting
* Compliance with agreed processes
* Accurate and detailed recording of data whilst on site
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ideally you will possess:
* Cert III Carpentry
* Cert IV Building & Construction
* Licensed Builder
* 10+ years industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products
