Job Details
Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Working hours: 7am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Location: Tullamarine with occasional travel to Woodend (vehicle available).
Responsibilities
* Performs assigned day‐to‐day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
* Reviews assigned work orders.
* Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
* Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
* Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
* Orders necessary materials and supplies.
* Maintains lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
* Responds quickly to emergency situations.
Qualifications
* Suitable trade qualifications or experience with building repair/carpentry work is highly desirable.
* Basic knowledge and safety awareness around electrical work.
* Experience with general repairs and maintenance in a structured commercial environment.
* Valid driver's license.
