Pipeline E&I Technician

Responsibilities
The role involves safely and efficiently executing field services for Verbrec's operated pipelines and external clients, including:
* Electrical works (LV)
* Cathodic Protection Surveys
* DCVG Surveys
* PLC fault finding and programming
* Non‐Fiscal equipment calibrations
* Meter validations
* Right of way surveys
* Water Bath Heater maintenance
* Vessel inspections
* Regulator maintenance
* Pre‐commissioning and commissioning of pipelines and associated facilities
Ensure operations are conducted at the highest level of safety, environment, community and stakeholder requirements, meeting agreed quality, operability, schedule, and cost targets, in strict accordance with statutory and regulatory guidelines.
About You
* Electrical Work License (Electrical Fitter / Electrical Mechanic)
* Equivalential trade certificate – Cert III in Electro Technology
* Certificate III in Process Plant Operations, Gas Supply Industry Operations or CP1 – Cathodic Protection Tester (Desirable)
* Type B Industrial Gas Course – Install, commission and maintain Type B gas appliances (Desirable)
* Experience within the gas industry, especially in Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, meter validations, Water Bath Heaters, and EEHA
* Experience with pipeline inspection and maintenance in the gas industry
* Safety‐first approach
* Experience working in remote areas
* Ability to work unsupervised
* High level of mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop on a diverse range of skills
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Sound computer skills
* Experience communicating with landowners and occupiers
