Job Description
We are seeking a Medicines Management Technician to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will work across mental health and physical health inpatient teams, supporting with medicines reconciliation, management of medication supply, participation in audit, and the use of electronic prescribing systems.
The role involves working independently and as part of the pharmacy team on allocated wards, contributing to clinical responsibilities and supporting ward pharmacists. You will have opportunities to work in partnership with community mental health teams, providing a locality-based clozapine clinic service.
* To provide medicines management pharmacy services to allocated in-patient areas.
* To work with ward pharmacists to identify new patients and complete medicines reconciliation processes.
* To liaise with ward staff over medicines management issues, ensuring concordance with prescribed medication.
