About the Role
This role is responsible for designing and creating the practice marketing and business development strategy, nationally. The goal is to move the function away from more reactive execution toward a clear, outcome-driven business development model. You will design the framework, set priorities, and lead a team responsible for enabling growth through partnerships, referral programs and targeted local market activity. Managing a small team of marketing generalists, this role provides strategic direction, decision-making clarity and stakeholder engagement across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing a national practice marketing and BD framework
* Translating broader growth strategy into repeatable, scalable programs
* Establishing planning rhythms, prioritisation and clear decision filters
* Leading, motivating and developing a practice marketing team
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to align activity to outcomes
* Ensuring all activity is clearly linked to brand, pipeline, conversion and performance
What we're looking for
The right person for this role is a commercially minded senior marketer who understands how growth works in professional services and B2B environments. You are comfortable navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders and bringing structure where required. You can operate at both strategic and tactical levels and are confident setting direction, making decisions and lifting team capability.
To Be Successful, You Will Bring
* Senior marketing or business development leadership experience (10+ years)
* Background in professional services, advisory or complex B2B environments
* Proven experience designing and implementing B2B or BD strategies
* Strong stakeholder management skills and leadership presence
* Experience leading teams that require structure, prioritisation and development
