**The Position**
This position is an exciting Payroll Officer role offering the opportunity to become part of an energetic and close HR/Payroll team. Using up to date timekeeping and payroll systems you will enjoy the challenges of a weekly payroll of 820+ employees and report directly to the Senior Payroll Officer.
This position would suit an already experienced Payroll Officer looking to broaden their payroll knowledge, or someone that has proven numerical and problem-solving skills with a passion to learn end to end payroll.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting with the processing of weekly payroll in a timely, complete and accurate manner with all payments made in accordance with employment agreements and contracts.
- Working with department managers in ensuring that employee data in Kronos is accurate for payment, and assist with training
- Conducting weekly payroll audits to ensure that payments are accurate and in accordance with awards and employment conditions
- Assist the Payroll team with payroll related end of month tasks and assisting with month end reporting
- Provide accurate and timely advice to employees regarding their leave entitlements and payroll queries.
**What we're looking for**:
With a passion for payroll, you will possess previous experience processing a medium-large sized payroll and comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice. You will be someone who enjoys taking initiative, with the expertise to contribute to continuous improvement processes.
