Utility Meter Reader Job Description

* We are seeking a skilled Utility Meter Reader to join our team in the Busselton area.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for walking allocated neighbourhoods, taking and recording utility meter readings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A current valid driver's licence
* A reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone
* The ability to work independently, while also collaborating with other members of the team
* Physical fitness to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting
* An ability to work in most weather conditions
* A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
* Flexibility and comfort with daily travel of up to, or more than 45 minutes each way
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately reading allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner
* Representing the company in a professional manner, adhering to safety standards
* Meeting targets and ensuring high-quality results
* Regularly communicating with office support teams
* Uploading and downloading route information to/from handheld devices
