Key Responsibilities

The Reliability Engineer is a vital contributor to the factory maintenance team, providing support for 50+ ABB robots integrated into our production process. This role involves working closely with the collaborative and passionate manufacturing maintenance and engineering team to identify opportunities for factory improvements, downtime reduction, process enhancements, and data management through manufacturing processes, robotics, and digital scheduling systems.

* Support regular reviews of downtime and collaborate with supervisors on improvement activities.
* Analyze and update area TPM boards and conduct audits.
* Conduct daily analysis of downtime events and document countermeasures.
* Analyze and report on weekly/monthly downtime events (number of events, total time, lost units).
* Lead continuous improvement programs for significant downtime events.
* Coordinate and analyze preventative and predictive maintenance activities, including safety and compliance PMs.
* Coordinate major repairs to plant equipment, engaging contractors or maintenance teams as needed.
* Review and optimize maintenance PMs for effectiveness.
* Organize weekly breakdown improvement meetings.
* Plan and schedule equipment improvement activities.
* E nsure all follow-up improvement activities are recorded in the system and tracked to completion.
* Train and coach maintenance personnel in reliability best practices.
* Participate in major breakdowns to facilitate RCA, assist with fault finding, thoroughly document findings, create work orders, and report outcomes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering or mechatronics/machine learning/ formal qualifications in reliability maintenance.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience working in manufacturing or a related sector with robotics.
3. Prior electrical background preferred but not essential.
4. Ability to handle intricate processes.
5. Understanding and compliance with WHS, environmental, quality regulations.
6. Proactivity, flexibility, and efficiency in work approach.
7. Adaptability to diverse situations.
8. Strong technical and analytical skills.
9. Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
10. Capacity to manage multiple challenges simultaneously.
11. Can-do attitude and ability to contribute positively to a team environment.
12. Effective communication with colleagues.
13. Flexibility and openness to new ideas.
14. Teamwork orientation, moving towards common goals.
15. Process and project goal awareness, striving to achieve them.
16. Urgency in addressing equipment issues affecting production.
