Position Available : Commercial Pricing & Contracts Manager
Location : Perth (Melbourne and Brisbane opportunities available)
About The Role
Centurions' Commercial team is looking for a Pricing & Contracts Manager to join their team. Reporting to the GM Commercial, the successful candidate will be responsible for financial modeling for both new and existing projects, as well as conducting commercial reviews of current contracts. This role is key to helping the division make informed decisions about financial planning and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities

* Manage, prepare, and update the Commercial Pricing Model in collaboration with the Commercial, Operational, and Business Development teams.
* Provide pricing guidelines to sales and bid teams for all new business by customer segment.
* Lead cross-functional team activities to ensure alignment of price components with agreed pricing principles.
* Manage customer pricing to optimize yield management across the Network portfolio.
* Prepare pricing and contract departure documents for internal review, presentation, and sign-off.
* Establish and maintain sources for Cost, Customer, and Competitor data for the Network Portfolio.
* Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing strategies and promotional activities, providing strategic advice and countermeasures.
* Undertake contract profitability modeling and analysis.
* Participate in kick-off meetings and assist in the collation of tender and contract requirements.
* Oversee the application of annual Rise and Fall and Fuel Surcharge for existing customer contracts
* Prepare commercial reviews of existing network contract customers.
* Conduct post-contract implementation pricing reviews for large contracts to ensure compliance with tender pricing submissions.
Skills And Experience
* Must hold demonstrated expertise in creating complex pricing models that drive business decisions, with a strong understanding of logistics and service-based pricing strategies, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning.
* Proven track record of effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stay organized, focused, and meet strict deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
* Experience in leading and supporting the preparation of successful bid submissions, with a clear understanding of commercial requirements and the ability to craft compelling proposals that align with customer needs and business goals.
* Consistently delivers projects and tasks on time, even under pressure, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed and satisfied.
* Strong ability to convey complex financial and commercial concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and driving collaboration across all levels of the organization.
* Expertise in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools to create detailed financial models, professional reports, and impactful presentations, contributing to efficient decision-making and communication.
* Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative, manage time effectively, and deliver results without constant oversight, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
* Thorough and meticulous in all aspects of work, from financial analysis to contract review, ensuring that all data and information are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business objectives, reducing risk and enhancing decision-making.
