The Peninsula Vet Care story started over 40 years ago, with our first clinics in Mt Eliza and Dromana. Since then we have grown to 6 clinics, from our initial clinic in Mt Eliza all the way to Rye Beach. Through renovations, investment in new technologies and highly skilled staff, we are delighted to be able to offer the highest levels of healthcare to the animals we see.
In 2019, our East Mornington site became the first 24/7 Emergency and Referral Hospital on the Mornington Peninsula. When it comes to consistency, we value our process of linking patient histories, meaning we’ll have all of a patients information instantly on hand to provide urgent care for your pet when they need it most.
Our Rosebud clinic is now looking for a Practice Manager who is looking to join a clinic where you can create meaningful change and improvement, not just to the clinic, but the people that are working there.
About you
You will want to work in a collaborative environment, driving patient care, improve our client experiences while supporting our dedicated and caring teams. We want you to be someone who can have a great time, make the workday enjoyable, and give the positive support needed to get through the day.
Your passion is going to be infectious, and you will jump onboard to achieve the goals of the clinic, to love and care for pets. Your expertise in clinic will play a big part in the growth and development of the team, development of our people is something that we value highly – you will take the most satisfaction from developing people.

Responsibilities of this role include:
* Someone who loves to have fun & engage the team
* Leading the Clinic Team in partnership with the Lead Vet and Head Nurse by encouraging a positive culture of accountability, empathy, and openness
* Proactively managing the clinical scheduling for optimal efficiency, including rostering and ensuring we have the right workforce
* Manage recruitment in partnership with the Lead Vet, Regional Manager, Head Nurse, and Talent Acquisition team
* Demonstrate balanced decision making with consideration of both clinical and commercial outcomes
* Create and manage the implementation of uncompromising standards of care in the delivery of veterinary and nursing services while fostering a focus on preventative healthcare amongst staff and patients
