Role Description
This is a full‑time position located in Marrickville, NSW, for a Sales & Event Coordinator who will oversee client accounts, manage client relationships, and ensure their events are executed successfully. As a growing small business, we are a tight‑knit team who work closely together to achieve success and constantly improve our services and practices. This also means we assist in all areas of the business, including business development, warehouse, deliveries and on‑site event work. The role is hands‑on and requires a strong understanding of audio‑visual and event production. The ideal candidate is someone with a proactive mindset and positive attitude who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and is comfortable switching between client‑facing, technical and logistical tasks.

Key responsibilities include:
* Liaising with clients and nurturing leads and relationships
* Collaborating with stakeholders and clients to offer guidance and education on the most suitable AV equipment, placement, and the necessary crew required to meet client needs and budget effectively
* Event project management, including coordinating project timelines, organising equipment subhires, managing budgets and preparation of project quotes and invoices
* Servicing AV rental clients which may include prepping and delivering equipment
* Assisting with warehouse maintenance, equipment prepping and vehicle loading
* Working on‑site to execute events to a high standard. Event work can take place outside of regular business hours and on weekends.
Qualifications:
* Experience in client relationship management, account management, and providing exceptional customer service
* Event coordination, project management, and budget management skills
* Knowledge of audio‑visual equipment, lighting, sound systems, and video production
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities
* Proficiency in using project management tools and software systems
* Ability to work seamlessly under pressure, manage multiple deadlines and adapt quickly to change
* Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
* Able to take strong initiative and work independently as well as part on a close team
* Relevant experience in the events industry required, experience in the AV industry preferred
* Experience as an audio‑visual technician is a plus
* Experience using Rentman software is a plus
