The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join the maintenance crew at Caval Ridge on a 7/7 rotating roster.
About The Role
You will be part of a team that prioritizes developing a strong performance culture and values everyone's contributions equally. As a Boilermaker, you'll maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing bucket and tray rebuilds and repairs
2. Carrying out general design and fabrication works
3. Conducting required inspections to maximize equipment utilization
4. Completing accurate Job Planning Sheets
5. Maintaining high housekeeping standards
6. Working collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll be a safety-focused individual who excels in delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure your success. The ideal candidate will have:
1. Proficient skills in performing welding, gouging, cutting, or other duties
2. A Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent qualification
3. Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
4. Mobile plant equipment and heavy welding experience (essential)
5. A Current Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence highly regarded)
6. A Current Standard 11
