Our client, based in Thornton, is on the lookout for a reliable and safety-focused MR Cylinder Exchange Driver to join their team for the winter season only. This isn't just another driving job - it's a hands-on, customer-facing role where you're the vital link between the terminal and homes, businesses, farms, and industrial sites across the Newcastle, Hunter & Central Coastal areas. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format Repetitive manual handling of gas cylinder bottles Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with our clients Operational Procedures A professional approach and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously Skills and Experience Hold a current MR license Dangerous Good experience will also be looked upon favorably Demonstrate a minimum 2 years driving experience Be able to deliver to customers in the Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions as well as surroundings areas Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle repetitive manual handling of gas cylinders with some items weighing over 80kgs Experience adhering to health and safety requirements Motivated and able to use your own initiative Benefits Fantastic hourly rate with penalty rates Training and full uniform provided If you're interested in this role, please either click on 'Apply' of phone our office on 02 4037 1500 Toll Group does not accept any unsolicited resume referrals from Recruitment Agencies and will not pay any placement fees relating to such unsolicited resume referrals.
