About the role
The Senior Contracts Administrator will provide short-term contract management expertise and leadership in support of WesCEF's Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project (the Project). We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to manage the awarded and active Civil, Structural Mechanical Piping (SMP) and Electrical/Instrumentation (EI) subcontract packages on this brownfield construction project. This is a client-side role, working collaboratively with the Consultant to ensure effective contract execution, robust performance monitoring, and full commercial and contractual compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in brownfield and/or oil & gas environments, with strong capability in:
* Managing contract variations and formal change processes
* Assessing and negotiating Extensions of Time (EOTs)
* Monitoring and reporting subcontractor performance
* Identifying and mitigating commercial, contractual, and schedule risks
* Conducting detailed cost verification and validating contractor claims

If successful, you will be rewarded with:

2. Short term arrangement: 2-3 months max – SUIT SEMI-RETIRED CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR OR QS
3. Monday to Friday: 38 hours per week

What We Need From You:
* A strong focus on safety and safe work practices
* Experience in the chemicals, oil & gas or mining industry
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial, procurement or project management discipline (or equivalent).
