About the Role
As a Health & Safety Business Partner – Projects, you will play a pivotal role in driving safety excellence across large‑scale infrastructure projects. Embedded within project teams, you will lead risk management, incident investigations, and contractor engagement to ensure compliance and foster a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk management activities on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and drive improvements.
- Engage with contractors to ensure health & safety compliance on site.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑impact safety outcomes across Current South Wales.
- Support the overall safety strategy and promote a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in health & safety across transmission or large infrastructure projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent (e.g., Certificate IV), and ICAM‑certified.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and standards, including ISO45001, Australian Standards, and industry safety codes.
- Hands‑on experience in incident investigations, risk management, and health & safety auditing.
- Experience in monitoring, analysing, and communicating safety performance using reporting systems and tools.
