About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and leadership to ensure mining capital projects are well-planned from the start. This will involve leading project planning and approvals, guiding projects through their initial stages, managing the full delivery, control, and closure of all approved projects, and monitoring, forecasting, and reporting on the capital plan.
You will bring advanced stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to this position, enabling you to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Your ability to communicate complex ideas simply and provide regular updates will be essential.
What We Are Looking For
* An Engineering degree qualification, preferably in mechanical, electrical or structural/civil engineering. Postgraduate business or project management studies are highly regarded.
* Experience working on both mechanical and electrical projects, ideally within the mining, construction, or heavy industry sectors.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
