Job Title: Senior Reliability Specialist
This role involves developing and implementing site strategies, plans, and goals to optimize asset performance and maximize cane crushing efficiency and sugar recovery across multiple factories.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and management of strategic asset management plans to optimize production, engineering performance, and safety outcomes.
* Support the creation and implementation of technical standards, AMPs, ELC plans, and defect elimination processes such as RCA2Go and MOC.
* Contribute to the development of preventative maintenance and capital budgets while supporting cost control initiatives.
* Ensure adherence to reliability engineering processes and lead or participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
* Analyze operational and financial data to identify performance gaps, manage risk, and implement effective control measures.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and represent the business on relevant regulatory matters.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to develop and align long-term factory and capital strategies (3-10 year horizon).
* Support root cause analysis investigations and deliver reliability engineering services across mill and cane operations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline or have equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of five years in a senior technical engineering role within a heavy industrial environment. Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is essential. Experience in the sugar industry and proficiency in SAP are highly regarded.
