At Ziku Capital, we're seeking an accomplished Associate Director - Lending to join our lending team reporting directly to the Head of Lending. This isn't just another lending role – it's an opportunity to shape financial futures, develop sophisticated lending strategies and build lasting relationships with our clients and internal financial planners & accountants.

Exceptional Compensation Package
Competitive compensation package as follows:
* Base salary of between $130,000 to $140,000 + super
* Performance-based payment of 40% of upfront commissions on all deals once you have passed budget targets
* Performance-based payment of 10% of trail income on all deals once you have passed budget targets
* Receive qualified leads from our financial planners, accountants and referral partners
* Dedicated support staff provided by our wholly owned offshore business – Ziku Global. This means all you have to do is focus on clients and writing deals, the rest we take care of for you.
* Ability to earn between $200,000 and $250,000 for the right candidate including trail income which builds as you grow your book
Work with substantial lending portfolios and complex financial scenarios that will challenge and expand your expertise including commercial property deals, business acquisition's and property development funding
Report directly to the Head of Lending who is a ex big 4 Corporate Banking professional with 18+ year's experience. Ziku Capital is willing to support extra study and other professional development activities for the right candidate
Working closely with Ziku Capital's other team members to deliver a comprehensive financial roadmap for clients while also learning from Ziku Capital's financial planners and accountants to grow your knowledge
Access our dedicated offshore team handling administrative tasks and preliminary documentation processing including loan servicing, data entry, document signing, application lodgement & approval, loan discharges and settlements. This strategic approach allows you to focus on high-value client interactions while reducing administrative burden, increasing productivity and ensuring faster turnaround times for client applications
Your Responsibilities:
* Strategic Client Advisory — Provide sophisticated lending guidance to high-value clients, developing tailored financing solutions that align with their complex financial objectives
* Portfolio Development — Actively cultivate and expand a portfolio of premium lending relationships through strategic networking and referral partnerships.
* Complex Deal Structuring — Architect multi-faceted lending arrangements that optimise terms, mitigate risks, and maximize opportunities for both clients and Ziku Capital
* Risk Assessment Leadership — Apply advanced analytical skills to evaluate complex lending propositions, balance risk factors, and make recommendations that protect all stakeholders
* Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work seamlessly with internal financial planning and accounting teams to develop comprehensive financial solutions
* Relationship Management — Nurture deep, trust-based client relationships through exceptional service, consistent communication and a high level of dependability
What You'll Bring:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential/commercial lending, private banking or a similar role within the mortgage or finance industry
* Minimum Cert 4 in Finance & Mortgage Broking with a view to earning a Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Broking
·Strong understanding of lender policies, credit assessment, and loan structuring
* Proven track record of managing & growing lending portfolios and complex client relationships
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into strategic recommendations
* Superior communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a talent for explaining complex concepts clearly
* Established network of high-value clients and professional referral sources would set you apart from the pack
* History of exceeding performance targets in lending volume, portfolio quality, and client satisfaction
