The Role
You are an identified role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. You will be part of the Gulaay First Nations curriculum and resources team in the Division of Learning and Teaching, responsible for making learning and teaching across the university culturally respectful, inclusive and high quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Running and improving the First Nations Cultural Awareness Journey, ensuring programme delivery and continuous growth.
* Collaborating with First Nations Elders, communities, academics and education specialists to embed First Nations knowledge, histories and perspectives into courses and professional learning.
* Providing culturally safe learning spaces and supporting better outcomes for students across online and face‐to‐face study.
About You
You are a First Nations Australian who brings deep cultural knowledge, lived experience and a strong commitment to advancing First Nations perspectives in education.
You will bring:
* Strong experience working respectfully with First Nations communities, Elders and knowledge holders.
* A background in education, curriculum, learning design or professional development.
* The ability to design and deliver culturally safe learning programs and resources.
* Well‐developed communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Confidence working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across a large organisation.
