Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Legal Assistant to support experienced lawyers in our Victorian law firm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and Amending Documents: The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and amending documents, including court documents and briefs.
* File and Diary Management: They will also be responsible for managing files and diaries, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
* Corresponding with Solicitors, Clients, Barristers, and Courts: The Legal Assistant will correspond with solicitors, clients, barristers, and courts, providing excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Compiling Briefs to Counsel and Court Documents: They will also be responsible for compiling briefs to counsel and court documents, ensuring that all necessary information is included.
