What will the role of Senior Legal Counsel at an important national technology company mean for you?
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will join a high-performing in-house legal team within a complex, heavily regulated and fast-moving commercial environment.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading significant, high-risk commercial transactions and influencing strategic decision-making.
This is not a back-office legal role – you will sit close to the business, shaping major technology deals and guiding teams through commercially critical decisions.
You will develop and refine your legal and commercial judgement through exposure to complex customer and supplier negotiations, regulatory risk management, governance matters and large-scale contracting.
The business relies on its legal team to simplify complexity and drive commercially sound outcomes.
If you’re looking for a role where you will have responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to influence major commercial decisions whilst providing pragmatic legal advice, then please read on.
This company also offers competitive remuneration, flexible hybrid working arrangements, generous parental leave and meaningful employee benefits.
How will this role develop your career?
This legal team is regarded internally as a strategic business partner rather than a support function.
You will work alongside experienced in-house lawyers and senior commercial leaders, gaining exposure to:
* Complex, high-value technology and B2B contracts
* Competition, privacy and intellectual property considerations
* Regulatory risk mitigation in a heavily regulated industry
* Dispute resolution and litigation oversight
* Leadership and mentoring responsibilities within the legal function
For lawyers coming from private practice, this role offers the opportunity to move beyond transactional execution and develop true commercial ownership of matters. You will see the operational and financial impact of your advice and build the confidence to influence senior executives.
For experienced in-house lawyers, this role provides scope to lead major projects, strengthen governance frameworks and further develop people leadership capability.
There is genuine progression available within the broader legal function for high performers.
