About the role
As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging services across a wide range of procedures within the Medical Imaging Department. Working with specialised equipment and a strong sense of independence, you will perform complex diagnostic examinations that require advanced clinical judgment and innovative scanning techniques. Your expertise will be central to ensuring patients receive accurate and timely results that directly influence their treatment and care.
In this role, you will contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes by supporting radiologists, referring clinicians, and surgeons with precise diagnostic information. You will work as a trusted professional within a team-oriented team environment, while also having the autonomy to apply your skills across diverse and challenging cases. About You
You will be a highly skilled and accredited Sonographer who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality imaging services that directly support patient care. With advanced technical expertise, professional judgment, and strong interpersonal skills, you will thrive in a collaborative environment while also working independently across a broad range of ultrasound procedures.
- Qualifications & Accreditation – Holds a recognised post-graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and is registered with ASAR as an Accredited Sonographer.
- Technical & Clinical Expertise – Experienced in performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, including complex and specialised examinations, with advanced competency.
- Collaboration & Communication – Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, and contribute to departmental development.
- Professionalism & Patient Care – Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices, medico-legal responsibilities, and cultural awareness, ensuring patient-centred, ethical, and high-quality service delivery.
