CPM Engineering Qld is seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join our team in Gympie, Queensland. What you'll be doing
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment
* Perform a variety of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
* Operate a range of metalworking machinery and tools.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and project teams to ensure the timely completion of projects
* Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in Boilermaking or a related trade, or equivalent experience
* Proven expertise in welding techniques and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
* Forklift license or the ability to obtain one
