The Installer / Glazier / Service Technician ( All-Rounder) is responsible for the installation, adjustment, and completion of DGA Windows' aluminium and steel window and door systems across residential and commercial projects. The role also supports service and warranty works as required, ensuring all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Site Works (Primary Responsibility)
* Install aluminium and steel windows and doors on residential and commercial construction sites
* Set out, fit, adjust, and finish joinery to ensure correct operation, alignment, and appearance
* Carry out replacements or modifications to existing joinery where required
* Read and interpret plans, schedules, and site documentation
* Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards, project specifications, and DGA Windows procedures
* Work collaboratively with builders, site supervisors, and internal teams
Service & Warranty Support (Secondary Responsibility)
* Attend service, defect, and warranty jobs as required following project completion
* Rectify issues efficiently and professionally
* Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients during service visits
* Provide feedback to management on recurring issues or potential improvements
Equipment & Vehicle Management
* Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition
* Report any damage, faults, or maintenance requirements promptly
* Use all company assets responsibly and in accordance with company policies
Skills & Experience
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Current White Card
* Experience working on construction or building sites
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Experience installing aluminium windows and doors or glazing systems
* Background in glazing, joinery, or related trades
* Competency with hand and power tools
