The role
Are you a compassionate and reliable Female Support Worker with a passion for making a difference? We are currently seeking a dedicated Female Disability Support Worker, for an exciting opportunity working with a local, Female NDIS participant in Casino NSW.
If you are a caring and culturally aware professional, this could be the perfect role for you! Cultural competence and experience in working with Aboriginal communities is highly desirable, and training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to an older female participant
- Provide various support, including daily living assistance, personal care and community access, and ensure the comfort and wellbeing of the client
- Work with a culturally sensitive approach
Role Requirements
- Female Support Worker
- Experience or willingness to provide personal care
- Cultural competence, particularly in working with Aboriginal communities, or a keen interest in learning (training will be provided)
- Ability to start ASAP
- Ability to commit to regular shifts (Afternoon shifts are available Mon-Sun)
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Previous experience working with people with disabilities
- Understanding of the NDIS and person-centered practice
- Cultural competence, particularly in working with Aboriginal communities (highly desirable)
- Experience or training in knowledge management systems (desirable)
- Contractor role: You must have an ABN. Don't actively use an ABN yet? No problem, we'll get you started!
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance

- Monday-Friday (Daytime 06:00 to 20:00) $48.48/hour
- Saturdays $68.22/hr
- Sunday $87.96/hr
- Public Holidays $107.70/hr
