About the role AGL’s Renewables team have a newly created opportunity for an Electrical Engineer – Battery. Based in Adelaide, you will be accountable for asset management and reliability analysis, ensuring performance and regulatory requirements are identified and managed effectively. With AGL’s grid-scale battery fleet expanding, this role provides the opportunity for extensive career progression and collaboration across operational and engineering teams. What you’ll be doing: Collaborating with the operational and engineering teams. Developing asset management strategies and ensuring the development and delivering of asset management life cycle Reviewing and implementing effective risk management plans. Supporting AGL’s evaluation and management of assets and managing relationships with OEMs & contractors. Working closely with regulatory agencies Continually monitoring asset performance against regulatory requirements What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Experience in control/communication system (preferred) Strong understanding of GPS and NEM ancillary services, specifically FCAS and relative data analysis skill. Technical experience with generation assets Understanding and awareness of commercial scale renewable energy generation Collaborative approach to project Strong problem-solving skills Applications close 12 June.
